CENTENARY EXHIBITION

21 February to 31 May 2015 at the Canberra Museum and Art Gallery.

The WILPF EXHIBITION TITLED "WOMEN'S POWER TO STOP WAR" was held in Canberra at the Canberra Museum and Gallery, at the time of the WILPF Australia Centenary Celebration events in Canberra in late May.

The exhibition was launched on Friday 27 February by Professor Marilyn Lake, FAHA, FASSA, Professor in History and ARC Professorial Fellow, The University of Melbourne, and Immediate Past President of the Australian Historical Association. You can read Professor Lake's speech for the launch here.

As CMAG is a local gallery, the focus was on WILPF ACT women, but within the national and international context covering the 100 years of WILPF in Australia. There were contributions from every branch across Australia.
