Opening of South Australia History Exhibition

WILPF President, Barbara O'Dwyer launched the SA Branch centenary exhibition on Friday, 8 May 2015 at the Kerry Packer Gallery, Bob Hawke Prime Ministerial Centre, UniSA in Adelaide to a crowd of 100, who listened to the Allegria Choir sing "I didn't raise my boy to be a soldier" and Eric Bogle sing his own song "And the Band Played Waltzing Matilda" which epitomised the horror of war.   It was a great celebratory occasion showcasing WILPF women's campaigns over 100 years at the international, Australian and South Branch levels.
