Formed in Australia in 2011, Young WILPF (YWILPF) is a global movement of young women involved in and supporting the objectives of the 100 year old feminist peace movement known as the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF).

Our YWILPF members (currently based in Melbourne and Sydney) have worked with the WILPF offices in Geneva and New York; have attended the YWILPF Conference in Stockholm, Sweden; and have attended national and international fora on the rights of women, such as the Commission on the Status of Women in New York.

We organise or support projects relating to young women's activism, women, peace and security, and young women's actions to stop war.

These opportunities are open to all members now and into the future, so please join us!
