On the 22nd of September, a day after the International Day for Peace, some NSW branch members participated at the “Women of Sydney Demand Peace” held at Martin Place, Sydney.  This community action was led by the Families for Palestine. We stood in solidarity to support the Palestinian people’s demand for peace, liberation, and statehood.  At the rally, WILPF members held a placard that said: “Let’s build a culture of peace” with our logo.

For the near future activities, the NSW Branch is currently preparing for the “Orange Day” – the 16 Days of Activism for the Elimination of Violence Against Women 25 November to 10 December) and the International Human Rights Day (December)/End of Year Gathering of NSW members. The following projects are also in progress: WILPF 110 Podcast, Bench & Art Installation.
