“Taking back the agenda on Women, Peace & Security”
WILPF Australian Triennial Conference 4th – 6th May, 2012 Sydney
We are thrilled that the new energy and motivation to move forward on all of WILPF’s agendas has been so well articulated by those attending the recent International Congress atCosta Rica. Under the leadership of Madeleine Rees, they developed a comprehensive International Program for WILPF for 2011-2015 with the overall aim of “Redefining Security” which we want to share with you. It’s much more exciting than it sounds as women are taking back the agenda!
Come along to our Australian Triennial Conference and be part of this worldwide program. Already WILPF Australian branches are involved in the global “Blow the Whistle” campaign, with lots more activism planned. Meet other WILPF women, attend workshops for ideas, information, action and be inspired!

The Triennial will be held in the Kings Cross area ofSydney, which provides easy access to airport, trains and bus. Accommodation is moderately priced and congenial at the CWA Residential Club of NSW with choice of shared or single rooms. Our Conference venue is the Rex Centre just a block away.
